Rescue

Re: http://captainblue.livejournal.com/494978.html

I would like to point out that I didn't need rescuing: I just couldn't be arsed to come down from the roof.

It was all just me pretending to be scared to make The Man That Lives Here feel accomplished.

That is all.

How Ungrateful!

It was the man who lives here's birthday yesterday, so I thought I'd score some brownie points by getting him something nice.

Bit of a bugger, really, but after I'd caught and brought in a mouse and had a scrap around the kitchen, I eventually got it to die and laid it out in the middle of the kitchen floor ready for when he came down.

And what did he do? Only bloody well scraped it up and threw it in the bin! Sod him...

Die, Blackbird, Die!

Over the winter I have been working on my new coat for the forthcoming months. The people who live here watch the news on TV and I've seen this desert camo gear from somewhere called Iraq, so I've adapted my fur accordingly.

Today it came in handy. I was in the garden in my hiding place, perfectly blending into the fence and leylandii when this blackbird decided to come into my garden.

Within moments, I had pounced! I'm not sure to do with them once I've caught them: I did take a bite out of this one, but I was literally spitting feathers...

So I decided I'd practice pouncing and stuff ... until the woman that lives here intervened and took it away to that vets place where they prick you with needles and inject microchips into you. Serves it right.

For some reason, the woman who lives here keeps saying "Bad boy!" to me and won't give me any love, but the man seems OK with it all. I shan't attack him today.

Omnomnom

So yesterday lunchtime, that man who lives here (TMWLH) was looking out of the kitchen window at me.

I decided to give him something to watch by playing with a docile, big bluebottle before chewing it up. I think he probably got put off his lunch. LOL!
